Step 1
To make this super easy air fryer recipe, simply put your chicken thighs in a bowl and coat in sesame oil, Chinese 5 spice, dark soy sauce, garlic puree and honey.
Step 2
Once you coat your chicken in all the seasonings, pop your chicken thighs in the air fryer at 180°C (355°F) for 12 minutes.
Step 3
Once cooked, baste your chicken in your honey soy sauce and cook for another 2 minutes (or until nice and crispy)
Step 4
In a bowl, plate up your rice, pickled onion and edamame beans, cut your chicken thighs into small pieces and serve on the rice along with some crispy onions and more soy sauce.
