If you’re looking for an easy recipe that everyone will love, you can’t go wrong with Mars Bar Krispie Squares. They’re quick, simple, and use just a handful of ingredients. Below, I’ve answered some of the most common questions people ask about making them.
What are Mars Bar Krispie Squares?
Mars Bar Krispie Squares are no-bake treats made with melted Mars Bars, butter, and Rice Krispies. Everything is mixed together, pressed into a tin, and usually topped with melted chocolate. They’re chewy, chocolatey, and very moreish.
Do Mars Bar Krispie Squares need to go in the fridge?
Yes, it’s best to pop them in the fridge for at least 1–2 hours so they set properly. Once firm, you can cut them into squares.
Can you freeze Mars Bar Krispie Squares?
Absolutely. Just wrap the squares tightly and pop them in a freezer-safe bag or container. They’ll last for up to a month. Defrost at room temperature before eating.
How long do Mars Bar Krispie Squares last?
If kept in an airtight container, they’ll stay fresh for around 4–5 days. Storing them in the fridge helps them keep their shape for longer.
Can I make them without chocolate on top?
Yes! The topping is optional. The Mars Bar Krispie mix is sweet enough on its own, but adding melted chocolate gives a nice finish and makes them feel more indulgent.
Are Mars Bar Krispie Squares good for parties?
Definitely! They’re a crowd-pleaser, easy to cut into bite-sized pieces, and great for birthdays, bake sales, or just as a simple family treat. For more sweet recipes like this, visit:
