Method

Step 1

Melt the butter, marshmallows, and chopped Mars bars together in a pan, stirring until smooth and fully combined. 

Step 2

Stir through the Rice Krispies until everything is evenly coated. 

Step 3

Tip the mixture into a lined baking tray (I used a 32cm × 22cm tin) and press it down firmly into the corners. 

Step 4

Spread over the melted chocolate, then scatter with the chopped Mars bar pieces. 

Step 5

Chill in the fridge for 1–2 hours until set, then lift out, slice into squares, and enjoy 😊

1 tsp golden syrup (optional)

100g dark chocolate
