Method
Step 1
Start by cutting your potatoes into cubes and seasoning them with a drizzle of oil, a sprinkle of salt, and a dash of pepper. This ensures they’ll be perfectly seasoned and crispy once cooked.
Step 2
Pop the seasoned potatoes into the air fryer with your butter, garlic and rosemary and cook for 15 minutes at 200º(390ºF). This initial cooking time allows the potatoes to start crisping up and absorb all those delicious flavours.
Step 3
After the first 10 minutes, give the potatoes a quick stir to ensure they cook evenly, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 4
After the 15 minutes is up, add your thinly sliced steak to the air fryer basket. Continue cooking everything together for another 7-8 minutes at 200º (390ºF) degrees. This short cooking time ensures your steak stays tender and juicy while the potatoes finish crisping up.
Step 5
Once everything is cooked, serve your steak and potatoes hot, and top with fresh herbs. It’s a simple yet satisfying dinner that’s sure to please everyone at the table.
