Can you make s’mores dip in the air fryer?
Yes! The air fryer is perfect for making s’mores dip – it melts the chocolate and marshmallows quickly while giving them that delicious golden top. It’s a quick, no-fuss version of the classic campfire treat.
What ingredients do I need for this air fryer s’mores dip?
All you need are chocolate, marshmallows, banana slices, and a little swirl of your favourite chocolate spread. Serve with biscuits, fruit, or crackers for dipping.
What kind of dish should I use in the air fryer?
Use a small oven-safe ramekin or baking dish that fits inside your air fryer basket. Avoid plastic or anything that could melt — look for ceramic, metal, or Pyrex dishes.
Can I add bananas to a s’mores dip?
Absolutely – banana adds a naturally sweet, creamy twist that pairs beautifully with the melted chocolate and gooey marshmallows. It also makes this feel slightly more indulgent and unique!
How long does it take to cook s’mores dip in the air fryer?
It takes around 5–7 minutes at 180°C, depending on your air fryer. You’ll know it’s ready when the marshmallows are puffed up and golden brown.
Is this air fryer s’mores dip suitable for sharing?
Yes – it’s a fantastic sharing dessert or sweet treat, especially for movie nights, dinner parties, or festive gatherings. Just serve it warm with plenty of dippers.
What can I use to dip into the s’mores?
Try digestive biscuits, shortbread, strawberries, banana slices, apple wedges or mini cookies. Anything with crunch or a soft bite works brilliantly.
Is this a good dessert for kids?
Definitely. Kids love the gooey, chocolatey nature of s’mores, and they’ll enjoy helping dip and swirl. Just let the dish cool slightly before serving.

Method
Step 1
Spread each crêpe or wrap with the chocolate hazelnut spread and add a peeled banana on top of each one, placed up to the edge, then roll up the crêpe or wrap until you reach the end. Dust with icing sugar and cut into bite-size chunks. If you want, cook in the air fryer at 200°C (390°F) for 7 minutes.
Step 2
For the smores dip, place the chocolate on the bottom of a heatproof dish, then scatter the marshmallows on top in an even layer, making sure they fully cover the chocolate. Air-fry at 160°C (320°F)for 5-6 minutes until gooey and melted.
Step 3
Serve the banana swirls along with the smores dip, get stuck in and enjoy. I like to dust the crêpe bites again with icing sugar just before dipping.
