After seeing Raising Canes all over my TikTok, of course when in America I had to try. In my opinion it was a little overhyped, but I’ve decided to put my own spin on it. Crunchy chicken tenders made in the air fryer with some homemade texas toast and of course, the famous Raising Canes sauce. You’ve got to try it.
What Makes Raising Canes Chicken So Special?
Raising Canes chicken is renowned for its perfectly crispy exterior and juicy interior. Our air fryer version captures the essence of this beloved fast-food favourite, delivering restaurant-quality chicken tenders right in your own kitchen. By using the air fryer, we ensure a crispy coating without the excess oil of traditional deep-frying.
How to Achieve the Perfect Crispy Coating
The secret to authentic Raising Canes-style chicken lies in the breading technique. Create a three-step breading process: first dredge in seasoned flour, then dip in buttermilk, and finally coat in a seasoned breadcrumb mixture. The air fryer will transform these steps into crispy, golden-brown chicken tenders that rival the original.
Why Choose Air Fryer for Chicken Tenders?
Air frying offers a healthier alternative to deep-frying while maintaining that coveted crispy texture. With minimal oil and quick cooking times, you’ll have delicious chicken tenders ready in minutes. The circulating hot air ensures even cooking and a perfectly crisp exterior that will have everyone coming back for more.
