How long do Domino’s cookies take to bake in an air fryer?
Domino’s cookies typically bake for around 10 minutes in a oven, but in an air fryer, the cooking time is reduced. I’d recommend bakingg your cookie dough in the air fryer for about 6-8 minutes. Keep an eye on them as they cook, and they’ll be ready when the edges are golden and crispy, with a soft, gooey centre. Make sure to leave some space between the cookie dough balls in the basket to allow for even cooking.
How to make cookies like Domino’s in an air fryer?
To make cookies like Domino’s at home, start with a simple cookie dough recipe (or cheat with store-bought dough like I did). You can find pre-made dough in most supermarkets, or make your own with butter, sugar, and flour. If you want to go all out with Creme Egg cookies, flatten two pieces of dough, place a Creme Egg in the middle, and form the dough into a ball. Airfry the cookies for 6-8 minutes for that perfect balance of crispy edges and soft, gooey middle.
What makes Domino’s Creme Egg cookies so delicious?
Domino’s Creme Egg cookies are loved for their indulgent combination of soft, chewy cookie dough and the creamy, gooey centre of a Creme Egg. The rich chocolate cookie dough pairs perfectly with the sweet, melty filling of the Creme Egg, making every bite a delightful treat. They’re especially popular around Easter, but thanks to their irresistible flavour, they’re enjoyed year-round.
Method
Step 1
Take your pre-made cookie dough and divide it into six equal portions. If making six cookies, you’ll need two pieces per cookie.
Step 2
Flatten each portion into a round circle. Place a Creme Egg on top of one of the flattened dough pieces, then cover it with another piece of dough.
Step 3
Seal the edges, ensuring there are no gaps to prevent the Creme Egg from leaking during baking.
Step 4
Place the cookies in a lined air fryer basket and bake at 180°C for 8 minutes.
Step 5
Allow the cookies to set for 10–15 minutes before enjoying.
