What are smashed Greek tacos?
Smashed Greek tacos are a twist on traditional tacos, using seasoned chicken mince smashed onto flatbreads or wraps, then cooked until golden and crispy. They’re topped with fresh Greek-inspired ingredients like tzatziki, tomato, cucumber and red onion—fresh, tasty, and easy.
Is chicken mince healthy?
Yes, chicken mince is a lean source of protein and lower in fat than beef or lamb mince, making it a great choice for healthy dinners. Pair it with fresh salad and a yoghurt-based sauce for a balanced meal.
What should I serve with Greek tacos?
These Greek-style tacos are great on their own or with a side of salad, sweet potato fries or a light couscous. They’re ideal for a fresh and filling dinner that doesn’t take much effort.
Method
Step 1
Cook the frozen chips in the air fryer following the packet instructions.
Step 2
Roll the chicken mince into 5 equal-sized balls. Season with salt, pepper, and a little paprika if you like.
Step 3
Press each chicken ball onto the back of a mini tortilla to flatten it.
Step 4
Place the tortilla in a pan, chicken side up. Fry the wrap side for 2–3 minutes.
Step 5
Flip it over and cook the chicken side for another 2–3 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
Step 6
Serve with a tablespoon of tzatziki, some Greek salad, and a handful of the cooked fries.
