This Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Chicken is so easy to make, and the perfect comforting meal. With minimal prep time, you can enjoy tender chicken in a rich garlic butter sauce. This slow cooker recipe is perfect for busy families or anyone looking for a hassle-free dinner option.

 

How To Make Garlic Butter Chicken

 

Simply coat your chicken breasts in flour and pan fry in 50g of butter (I used the HexaClad to do this). Once fried for one minute each side, add to the slow cooker with all your other ingredients and let the magic happen.

Step 1

Coat the chicken breasts in flour and pan fry in 50g (1/4 cup) of the butter for 1 minute each side.

Step 2

Add to the slow cooker with all other ingredients, and let the chicken mixture cook for 3-4 hours on high, or 7-8 on low.

Step 3

Serve with a creamy mash, greens and enjoy!

150g (2/3 cup) butter – I used half fat

4-5 crushed garlic cloves

2 slices of lemon

1 handful of chopped parsley

Salt and pepper

2-3 tbsp flour

100ml (2/5 cup) chicken stock
