PS If you want easy 500 calorie Slowcooker recipes, my new Slowcooker book EVEN EASIER is out 4th Jan, it’s £10 on Amazon 📕 Ingredients – 400g thin beef steaks cut into chunks – 1 x onion cut chunky – 5 tbsp dark soy sauce – 2 tbsp hoisin – 1-2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce – 1 tbsp ginger purée or paste – 3 sliced garlic cloves – 350ml chicken stock (beef stock is too rich for this) – Crack of black Pepper – 1 tsp rice wine vinegar – 1 heaped tbsp cornflour mixed with 1 tbsp water – 1 head of broccoli 🥦 Method 1. Add all ingredients but the Brocolli, rice and chilli, cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 2. Add in the brocolli and allow to cook for a further 30 mins or so 3. Method

Step 1

Add all ingredients but the Broccoli, rice and chilli, cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours

Step 2

Add in the broccoli and allow to cook for a further 30 mins or so

Step 3

Garnish with chilli and serve with 125g rice per person

5 tbsp dark soy sauce

2 tbsp hoisin

1-2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
