What ingredients do you need for Mini Egg fudge?

You only need a few simple ingredients:

  • Chocolate (milk, dark, or white)
  • Condensed milk
  • Mini Eggs (crushed and whole)
  • Optional: Butter or vanilla extract for extra flavour

How long does Mini Egg fudge take to set?

Mini Egg fudge usually takes 3-4 hours to set in the fridge. If you’re in a hurry, pop it in the freezer for about an hour.

How do you store homemade Mini Egg fudge?

Store your Easter fudge in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. If you prefer a softer texture, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before eating.

Can you freeze Mini Egg fudge?

Absolutely! Wrap it well and freeze for up to three months. When ready to eat, thaw in the fridge overnight.

What chocolate is best for Mini Egg fudge?

I’d recommend using a good quality chocolate for this recipe. Milk chocolate gives the classic fudge flavour, but dark chocolate works for a richer taste. White chocolate makes a great base for a sweet, creamy Easter recipe.

Method

Step 1

In a microwavable bowl, combine the chopped white chocolate and a can of condensed milk. Microwave in 60-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

Step 2

Once melted, add the two bags of crushed mini eggs and mix well. Pour the fudge mixture into a lined baking tray or bread tin then pop into the fridge for 3–4 hours or overnight.

Step 3

Once set, remove from the tray, cut into cubes, and enjoy 😊
