This is so easy I am not sure I can even call this a recipe – with just three ingredients. When I first posted this dish on social media it went viral on an entirely new scale for me – it was featured in national newspapers and even made it onto an American TV news channel! Feel free to be creative with your choice of chocolate egg and if you can’t get the croissant roll, just use puff pastry. Method
Step 1
Wrap each chocolate egg in a strip of pastry so it is completely covered. Roll and shape the pastry so it is a ball and fully closed.
Step 2
Brush with the beaten egg, then air-fry at 180°C (390°F) for 8 minutes.
Ingredients
6 chocolate eggs (I use Cadbury Creme Eggs)
1 packet of croissant pastry (find these in the refrigerated aisle with the pastry)
1 egg, beaten
