DIFFICULTY

simple

How long does cooked lasagne meat last in the fridge?

Cooked lasagne meat lasts 3 to 4 days in the fridge if stored in an airtight container. If you want to freeze the lasagne meat, let it cool then freeze in a sealed tub or freezer bag for up to 3 months. Make sure to defrost before fully reheating.

How do you make lasagne tacos in the air fryer?

Fill taco shells or tortilla wraps with lasagne meat and a sprinkle of mozzarella or cheddar cheese. Air fry at 180°C for 5–7 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve with extra cheese or a drizzle of white sauce if you like.

How do you make taco shells crispy in the air fryer?

Place soft tortillas in the air fryer, folded into a taco shape (use foil or a rack to hold the shape) then air fry at 180°C for 4–6 minutes until crispy.

What recipes can I make using lasagne meat?

  • Air fryer lasagne tacos
  • Spaghetti bolognese
  • Stuffed peppers
  • Nachos topped with cheese and sour cream
  • Cottage pie – top with mash and bake
  • Loaded fries with cheese and lasagne meat

Do I need a special taco shell for lasagne tacos?

No! You can use regular hard taco shells or small soft tortillas. Just fill them and air fry until crispy.

What cheese works best in lasagne tacos?

Mozzarella, cheddar, or a mix of both melts really well. You can also add parmesan for extra flavour.

Method

Step 1

Start by preparing the lasagne filling. Brown the mince and onion together in a pan, then add the remaining ingredients for the meat mixture. Stir well and cook until everything is fully combined, and the mince is cooked through.

Step 2

Once your filling is ready, take each taco and dip one side into the sauce. Place the taco dry-side down and begin assembling. Add 1 teaspoon of béchamel sauce, 2-3 tablespoons of the lasagne meat, and a sprinkle of grated cheese.

Step 3

Fold the taco in half, brush the outside with garlic butter, and place it in the air fryer. Cook at 200°C for 8 minutes until golden and crispy.

Step 4

Serve and enjoy 😊
