Air Fryer Stuffing Balls

Perfect to make this Christmas. I prefer my stuffing without sausage meat, but here is an option for both. I used Frylight to crisp them up.

Air fryer stuffing balls are bite-sized, crispy delights made from stuffing mix, herbs, and various add-ins. They offer a fun and convenient way to enjoy traditional stuffing in a new form, perfect for festive meals or as a tasty snack.

Ingredients for Perfect Air Fryer Stuffing Balls

To make delicious air fryer stuffing balls, you’ll typically need:

  • Stuffing mix (such as sage and onion)
  • Butter or oil for added flavour
  • Boiling water to bind the mixture
  • Optional add-ins like cooked sausage, herbs, or dried fruit for extra taste

Variations and Add-Ins for Stuffing Balls

Get creative with your stuffing balls by adding ingredients such as:

  • Cooked sausage meat for extra flavour
  • Dried cranberries or apricots for sweetness
  • Fresh herbs like parsley or thyme for freshness

Storing and Reheating Leftover Stuffing Balls

Leftover stuffing balls can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To reheat, simply pop them back in the air fryer for a few minutes until heated through and crispy again.

Method

Step 1

Add your butter to a medium heat pan and let it melt. Add your chopped onion, salt, pepper and garlic. Give it a good stir then add your herbs and spices.

Step 2

Add your breadcrumbs to the mix and stir until well combined. Once mixed, transfer the stuffing into a bowl and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Roll the stuffing into small balls (around 5cm) then spray with some Frylight butter flavour spray oil and cook for 10 minutes at 180. If adding sausage meat to your stuffing, cook for 15 minutes at 180. Enjoy 🙂
