DIFFICULTY

simple

Can I make stuffed Yorkshire puddings in the air fryer?

The air fryer is perfect for getting Yorkshire puddings golden and crispy while keeping the inside soft and gooey. Simply cook the puddings in batches, add your pigs in blankets and brie, and you’ll have a deliciously indulgent air fryer Christmas snack in minutes.

What fillings work best in stuffed Yorkshire puddings?

The classic combination of brie and pigs in blankets is a festive favourite because the creamy cheese complements the savoury, smoky sausage. You could also try other cheeses like camembert or cheddar, or add a little cranberry sauce for extra Christmas flavour.

Can these stuffed Yorkshire puddings be made ahead?

Yes, you can bake the Yorkshire puddings ahead of time and reheat them in the air fryer or oven before adding the brie and pigs in blankets. This keeps the bases crisp and the filling perfectly melty.

Are stuffed Yorkshire puddings suitable as a starter or part of a festive meal?

Absolutely. They’re ideal as a Christmas starter, party snack, or even as a fun side to your main Christmas dinner. The combination of creamy brie and smoky sausage makes them a crowd-pleaser every time.

Can I make these vegetarian-friendly?

Swap the pigs in blankets for vegetarian sausages or roasted vegetables, and pair with brie or another soft cheese. You still get that indulgent, festive feel without the meat.

What makes these Yorkshire puddings next level?

Stuffing Yorkshire puddings with brie and pigs in blankets takes a classic favourite and turns it into something truly special. The mix of flavours — creamy, savoury, and crispy — makes them perfect for Christmas, parties, or any festive occasion where you want a little wow factor.

Method

Step 1

Cook your pigs in blankets as per packet instructions or feel free to make your own by wrapping some bacon around cocktail sausages.

Step 3

Serve with some gravy and get stuck in!
