Method
Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
Step 2
Add the eggs, and vanilla extract and stir again. In a separate bowl, mix together your flour, baking powder and salt.
Step 3
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips. Cover the cookie dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Step 4
Grab your store bought croissants, and using a bread knife, cut the croissants in half but don’t cut all the way through.
Step 5
Open up the croissants. Take one tablespoon of the cookie dough and spread it inside the croissant, repeat the process until all croissants have cookie dough in the middle.
Step 6
With the leftover cookie dough, take another tablespoon of the mixture and press it on top of the croissant, and repeat this for the rest of the croissants
Step 7
Line the air fryer with some baking or parchment paper, place the croissants inside and cook for 10 minutes at 160°C (320°F).
Step 8
Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and sprinkle some flaky salt or icing sugar and enjoy.
