Air Fryer Chips, Cheese & Gravy
There’s nothing better than cheesy gravy chips from the local chippy - a proper comfort food classic. This quick and easy fakeaway-style snack is ready in minutes with just a few simple ingredients!
Can you make chips in the air fryer?
Air fryer chips come out perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy inside with just a fraction of the oil. Simply toss your potatoes in a little oil and seasoning, then air fry until golden.
How long do chips take in the air fryer?
Chips usually take 20–25 minutes in the air fryer at 200°C, depending on thickness. Shake the basket halfway through for even cooking.
Can I use frozen chips in the air fryer?
Frozen chips cook brilliantly in the air fryer. Just pop them in at 200°C for 15–20 minutes, no need for extra oil.

Method
Step 1
Peel and slice your potatoes then add to a bowl with some boiling water and salt, and add to the microwave for 7 minutes.
Step 2
When the potatoes are ready, drain and pat dry.
Step 3
Add the chips to the air fryer basket with some oil spray and cook for 22-25 minutes at 200.
Step 4
While that is cooking, prepare your gravy by mixing 500ml of water with 2 tbsp gravy paste and give that a mix on the hob.
Step 5
When the chips are ready, add to a plate with some cheese and plenty of that gravy.

1 tbsp olive oil or low calorie oil spray
2 tbsp Tasty Foods gravy paste mixed with 500ml water
Handful of grated cheese
