What is an Air Fryer Cajun Chicken Melt?
An Air Fryer Cajun Chicken Melt is a toasted wrap filled with juicy Cajun-seasoned chicken, melted cheese, and your favourite toppings. It’s quick to make, high in protein, and perfect for lunch or meal prep.
Is this Cajun Chicken Melt good for meal prep?
Yes. It’s perfect for meal prep. You can make 5 lunches in just 5 minutes. Store them in the fridge and reheat when you’re ready. Quick, easy, and keeps you full.
How many calories and protein are in each wrap?
Each wrap has 455 calories and 36g of protein. It’s a high-protein, balanced lunch that helps you hit your goals.
Can I freeze the Cajun Chicken Melts?
It’s best to store the wraps in the fridge for 3-4 days, keeping them tightly wrapped in foil or an airtight container to maintain freshness. If you’re planning to freeze them, it’s important to leave out any fresh salad ingredients or sauces—things like lettuce, cucumber, tomato, or mayo-based dressings don’t freeze well and can turn soggy or watery when defrosted. You can freeze the wraps like this for up to 2-3 months. When ready to eat, defrost in the fridge overnight or reheat straight from frozen in the oven or air fryer until piping hot throughout. Add your fresh salad, sauces, or toppings after reheating for the best texture and flavour.
Can I customise the Cajun Chicken Melt?
Absolutely! Add extras like jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, light mayo or low-fat cheese.
Is this recipe healthy?
