The idea for Healthy Fakeaways came from a really simple place – I love a takeaway as much as the next person, but they’re expensive, often unhealthy, and usually leave you feeling sluggish or bloated.
I started experimenting with recreating some of my favourites at home – using simple ingredients, healthier swaps, and my favourite kitchen gadgets… air fryer and slow cooker. The result? All the flavour, none of the guilt. And it turns out, you guys loved it too. Recipes like Air Fryer Chicken Gyros, Slow Cooker Butter Chicken, and Raising Canes Chicken Tenders became instant favourites across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok – so it only made sense to turn it into a full cookbook.
